Mujer Cangrejo is a compact sculpture shaped like an organic block. Its curled, defensive female figure recalls a crustacean, suggesting protection and inner strength. Sensuous curves meet geometric lines, creating a contrast between softness and solidity, human and animal. A mirrored base reveals the underside of the sculpture, drawing attention to forms that would otherwise remain hidden and inviting a dialogue between exterior and interior.
The work has appeared in several exhibitions as part of the Metamorfosis series, where its changing appearance invites multiple interpretations. Its vertical form and interwoven organic shapes evoke the feminine as a natural force in transformation.
