Titanes is a sculpture with a strong symbolic presence, conceived as a tribute to human strength, resilience and the ability to stand firm in the face of time.
The work combines a tall, slender structure with a large circle at the top, containing the horizon, mountains and moving water. The circle evokes the universe, the cycle of life and eternity, while the figures supporting it symbolise humanity as a bridge between earth and sky.
The metal’s green and blue patina gives the sculpture a sense of age and memory, as though it had passed through different eras and retained the marks of time on its surface.
Titanes speaks of what endures: inner strength, unity, balance and our capacity to hold up our own worlds.
